The River Fund "Cancer Connection" Fund began in March of 2015 when the Laughlin Chamber of Commerce decided to do a fund raiser to help River Fund finance certain services for eligible cancer patients and their families in time of need. What is now earmarked as the "Connie Davis 5K Walk for Cancer" is held at Pyramid Park in Laughlin, Nevada.
